THOMAS E KENNEDY has published six books of fiction -- most recently, in addition to Kerrigan's Copenhagen, A Love Story, Drive Dive Dance & Fight, Stories -- and another new novel will appear in 2003. His other books include four works of literary criticism (including book-length studies of the short fiction of Andre Dubus and of Robert Coover) and several anthologies. Earlier in 2002 his Realism & Other Illusions, Essays on the Craft of Fiction appeared. His stories, essays, poems, reviews, travel writing, and translations from the Danish appear regularly in American and European anthologies and periodicals and have won O Henry, Pushcart, and other prizes and awards. He serves as Advisory Editor for The Literary Review, International Editor for Story Quarterly and Potpourri, and Contributing Editor for WebDelSol. An American citizen, he has lived in Europe since the mid-1970s.
