DEATH IS A HAT
Death is a hat. Or an heir-
loom. Anything passed down.
Cornucopia. Plenty for each.
And appetite roars its huge
self: stretched like a mane
or a brim. Circumference.
And edgy. And blue like the eyes
of her father. It fits perfectly.
