A Web Chapbook Series From TLR

The Web chapbooks on this site represent a joint project of The Literary Review and Web Del Sol. Please click on the above photographs to sample. These unique collections mark the first step in developing an electronic library of work by a growing number of important new authors. A portion of the fiction and poetry will appear in the pages of TLR's Spring 1998 issue, which is devoted entirely to the work of the eleven participating writers. But here we are taking advantage of cyberspace's unlimited capacity to offer readers an in-depth experience of each writer's talent.

The eleven authors -- seven poets and four fiction writers -- were invited by TLR to contribute a body of work. All have appeared previously in our pages. Several have won awards with books and a wide range of publications in important literary magazines. Others are beginning their careers, and promise to realize much success in the next few years.

The chapbooks series is beginning with the nine groups of poems now just a click away. Others will appear periodically over the next few months, with all accessible on this site by late spring. Please note that the first three poets to be featured on this site you will find a scroll or two down.

One of the advantages of our online presence through Web Del Sol has been the frequent email messages we receive from those who read our selections on the Web. We look forward to your comments about these works. You also may write directly to the authors through their email links.

Web Del Sol has been a pioneer in making the best of contemporary writing available to a worldwide audience. These chapbooks are another step in TLR's association with WDS, one that gives us both pleasure and satisfaction.
